Come join us for Boots & Saddles, a 4-day, 3-night (Mon-Thurs) horse
camp for girls ages 10 and up. Campers spend mornings with the horses
learning how to ride and care for their horse. The ranch is located right
on the scenic Cedar River, with 200+ acres of beautiful trails to explore.
Each horse is specifically chosen to match the rider's ability level,
and all of our horses are well trained and well cared-for. Safety is a
must, and all campers are required to wear a helmet when riding. Campers
will spend several hours with the horses each day, usually coming back
from the morning ride just in time for lunch. By the end of the week,
all campers will have learned to not only walk, but trot and canter, and
will show off these skills in the horse show Thursday evening. Both new
and returning campers will enjoy traditions like the cookout, hayrack
ride, pizza night, and scary stories. Besides camp, the ranch is open
for trail rides weekends April-October for individuals and groups. You
can also rent the lodge Friday or Saturday night and make your visit complete.
No previous horse experience necessary. To see pictures of the ranch,
