We Can Send the Saddle to You for Trial

We encourage you to try our saddles for comfort and fit for both you and your horse. We realize not all saddles fit all horses and also that saddles are like cars in that they need to be "test ridden" or "test driven", in most cases before being purchased. You may check a saddle out of one of our store's or we can send the saddle to you for trial. As a rule, we only like for you to check "one" saddle out at a time. Whether you check a saddle out in person or through the mail (UPS unless otherwise indicated), we will need a credit card or money order down on the saddle. That means the saddle is charged to your credit card. You can understand these are not our saddles. They are owned by other people and we have to protect their investments. If the saddle does not work out for any reason, you will receive a full refund less the shipping charge. Regular UPS shipping is $35/English saddle and $45/Western saddle. We can ship any saddles Priority or Rush if you like, but there will be additional freight and you will be charged accordingly. There is an 8.25% sales tax charge if you live in Texas with no tax being charged if you live outside the state of Texas.

Reminder

You are charged the "asking price" or "listing price" for the saddle. If you decide to purchase the saddle, you are more than welcome to offer less than the asking price. Most times, the saddle owners will accept or counter with a lower price. At that time, we will credit your charge card or send you a refund for the difference.

Once you've received the saddle, you need to check for fit on your horse and you can ride in the saddle to see how you like it.

We generally feel that it won't take you long to decide if you like the saddle or not, once you've determined that it fits your horse. We ask that you use commonsense when trying the saddle such as using a clean pad, not keeping it in your car during extremely hot times of the year, etc. Take care of it as you would if it was your own. If the saddle does not work out, ship it back to us either US Mail or UPS and please "insure" it for whatever the asking price is.
