The Korsteel Stainless Steel Tom Thumb Pelham Bit has the shorter cheek shanks that offer less leverage and are less severe than traditional longer shank pelhams. These bits are very commonly seen in hunt seat equitation classes by riders using double reins. Alternatively, they may be paired with pelham bit connectors for use with one set of reins.
