Standard orders up to 12 lbs: $9.95 flat rate
English saddles: $75 flat rate
Western saddles: $100 flat rate
These rates apply to shipping within the continental United States only. For orders over 12 lbs, excluding saddles, please contact the store for shipping details.
Shipping offers may not be combined with other offers or applied to previous purchases. Additional exclusions may apply. Contact the store for details.
We ship Monday through Friday using UPS or the United States Postal Service unless otherwise specified.
In-stock items: Most ship within 24 hours.
Backordered items: Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks.
Custom and special orders: Please allow approximately 4–8 weeks.
These time frames are estimates and may vary based on availability.
We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If an item does not meet your expectations, eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund to the original form of payment.
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by the original sales receipt or online order confirmation.
All returns and exchanges are subject to inspection and approval. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.
Your safety is our priority. Once ANY safety item leaves Charlotte’s Saddlery’s possession, it is final sale and ineligible for return or exchange—even if unused or in its original packaging. This applies to purchases made in store, online, or at our mobile booth and includes, but is not limited to, helmets, safety stirrups, and air vests.
Once an item leaves our care, we cannot verify how it has been handled or stored, or whether it has sustained an impact that could compromise its protection. We take the integrity of safety equipment seriously and will never compromise on rider safety.
Please contact us before purchasing if you need help with sizing, fit, or selection.
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Pharmacy and care products, whether opened or unopened, including fly sprays, topical ointments, shampoos, conditioners, dewormers, supplements, leather cleaners and conditioners, and dated or sealed merchandise.
Opened horse treats.
Sale rack merchandise marked final sale.
Merchandise returned after 30 days or without an original receipt may be considered for store credit of up to 50% of the purchase price, subject to approval. Store credit is not guaranteed. Nonreturnable and final-sale items remain excluded.
Place the item in its original packaging inside a shipping box. Include your receipt or order confirmation, along with your name and order number, and ship to:

Approved refunds will be processed after the merchandise arrives at our store and has been inspected. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, excluding shipping charges.
The right saddle should fit both horse and rider. We offer a four-day saddle trial beginning on the date you receive your saddle, so you can evaluate the fit before making your final decision.
To keep your saddle eligible for return:
Always use a clean saddle pad.
Wrap your stirrup leathers to protect the saddle from marks.
Do not oil or condition the saddle unless you have decided to keep it.
Return the saddle in the same condition in which you received it.
If you decide to return the saddle, please contact us within the four-day trial period to arrange the return. If we do not hear from you during that time, we will consider the saddle accepted.
If a lame horse or inclement weather prevents you from completing your trial, please contact us before the trial period ends to discuss arrangements.
Returned saddles will be inspected. Marks, wear, or damage may result in a damage fee. Saddle shipping charges are nonrefundable.
