Centaur - D Thin Split Mouth Large King Racing 5-1/4"

Thin Split Mouth Dee Bit:

• The thin split mouth Dee bit is a specific variation of the Dee ring snaffle.
• It has a thin, split mouthpiece, which means that the mouthpiece is divided into two separate bars.
• The split design allows for more precise communication with the horse’s tongue and bars.
• Riders often choose this bit for horses that respond well to subtle cues and have a sensitive mouth.

Function and Use:

• The thin split mouth Dee bit is suitable for various riding disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, and general riding.
• It encourages the horse to maintain a soft mouth and respond to light rein aids.
• Riders can use it for lateral flexion, bending, and transitions.
• However, like all bits, proper fit and correct use are crucial to ensure the horse’s comfort and responsiveness.
