For use with Peacock Stirrups that help young and beginning riders stay safe in the event of a fall. The rubber band simply snaps off, releasing the foot from the stirrup to prevent the rider's foot from getting stuck. Since the band is designed to snap off, it's a good idea to have replacements on hand. Eco Pure Peacock Bands have better strength and abrasion resistance compared to standard peacock bands. Leather loops (sold separately) are needed for the bands to work properly.
